So, what I thought would take me four weeks, took more like eight. BUT, it is finally done (mostly). I would still like to hang some drapes and put some flower pots out, but that will be put on the Summer Projects list.
Here it is!
Tasks accomplished: Cleaned out the junk, mopped the (stained concrete) floors. Washed the (unfinished) wood and killed a bunch of spiders. Painted the siding "Tea Room Yellow", and the brick white. Sealed and painted the wood trim "Almond Creme". Laid a brown sisal rug in the smaller room, and put down carpet squares in the bigger, recessed room. Reused some old paint (that Lowes kindly re-mixed for me), bought carpet squares in an assorted pack, and found the rug at TJ Maxx for $49 (same one I'd had my eye on at World Market for $199!). And now you know where to find me, drinking my coffee in the morning sun...

What an awesome job you did! I love doing things like that and seeing the accomplishments of my hard work! Beautiful! I would be drinking my morning coffee in that chair too!
