Lately, avocados are one of Noa's favorite foods at dinnertime. We've also had good luck with carrots (steamed and raw), apple slices, and banana. I've given up on baby food and spoons for now, as she is still rather unsure of what to do with food once it lands on her tongue. She does much better when she's allowed to figure it out for herself.
I also want to get a good picture of her drinking water. Sooooo cute. She opens her mouth wide and sticks her tongue out. When I pour the water into her mouth, most of it just dribbles right back out... but little by little she's learning how to swallow some.

Let's hope avocado is good for the skin... :0)

Avocado is next on our list...Noa looks like she's doing great feeding herself!
mmmm...avocado
This sounds just like Austin--he never really enjoyed the puree's or spoon feeding--he loved feeding himself and "discovering" the food on his own.
And to this day he LOVES Avocado--which Dr Sears has on his "Top 12 Grow Foods for Kids!" So that means that its a good thing for them to like! Last night Austin ate a whole avocado for dinner..that's it!!
Go Noa with the Avocado!
