40 weeks: Fun Times

What an exciting weekend! Josh and I spent time with our friends, Jeremy and Dana who happened to be due the same time as us. We met at the local outlet mall, played with stuffed animals and talked about which one of us might deliver first. Dana and I had been having pretty similar pregnancies so we've enjoyed comparing notes and being first-time moms together.

While we were spending time together, Dana was concerned about some things that had been happening since the day before and decided to call her doctor about it. Long story short, she decided to make a trip to the hospital just to make sure everything was alright, and discovered that she was in labor! She gave birth to a baby girl just 12 hours after these photos were taken! Way to go Dana!!!!




All this excitement has us especially eager to meet our baby girl. I've been experiencing practice contractions for many weeks now, but in the last 24 hours they've taken a turn for the better and seem to be coming more frequently and powerfully. Maybe this weekend's adrenaline rush (thanks to Jeremy and Dana's birth) helped kicked things into a higher gear!! ;0)
