Easter Joy

We traveled to South Texas this year to celebrate and give thanks for our salvation in Jesus Christ. A warm welcome was waiting for us when we arrived - roughly 90 degrees warm! Noa enjoyed the Easter Bunny, but cried at the balloon man. We all had the pleasure of being serenaded by a Mariachi band and smashing cascarones on each other's heads. Noa seemed to enjoy the confetti tradition, until she realized that her egg collection was quickly being reduced to nothing, at which point she was quite peeved. While the adults had their fun trying to entertain the children, rocks, candy boxes, and other kiddos proved much more exciting. Before heading back to CO, we made sure to take advantage of the yummy Texas sun by dipping our toes in the pool.

We hope you also had an enjoyable Easter celebration. We give thanks to God for saving us from ourselves, and being so merciful to invite us back home, even while we were still running away!

And in keeping with Springtime, we have been pruning, planting, and making all sorts of changes here at home. I'll be sure to include pictures in the next post. Just to keep your imagination entertained until then, here is a sneak peak at one of the changes...

Stay tuned!
