Spring has brought about many changes outside, so we figured we'd institute some changes inside as well. Last post I gave you a quick glimpse of my new hairdo - then I left you hanging for many weeks to build anticipation (classic trick). The hair has grown quite a bit already, and I've yet to take a properly-posed photo, but I'll post what I have. It's been a fun change, but I must admit how glad I am that my hair grows quickly!
Noa and I have been busy planting flowers around the front of the house in an attempt to disguise our many landscaping needs. Josh has been busy doing manly things like tearing down trees and overgrown bushes. Our neighbors are telling us that things look improved already, although to us our front yard still looks pretty barren. All in due time, I guess.
(This is a newer photo - the hair is already in need of a trim!)
Noa has also been busy learning how to use the potty full-time. It looks like it will take a few more months to learn how to climb up to the "big potty" and to take down her pants by herself. But as long as she is pant-less and her "little potty" is accessible, she now knows how to help herself! Mommy struggles at times to see the light however, as diapers are still a strong temptation. The world is not yet ready for a pant-less-almost-2yr-old wonder, and the potty requires much more of my attention than diapers do. For now, anyways. And the benefits of having a (relatively) potty-trained child include: messes to flush instead of wipe, underwear to pull off and wash instead of lay-down and tape-on, far fewer diapers and wipes to buy, and healthy, rash-free baby skin!

Love the hair! And Noa is such a big girl...so happy you are finally able to enjoy spring. I thought it might stay cold in CO forever.
