Bryn was checked out for her 4-month visit earlier this week, and she still favors her sister in size. She is also full of giggles and curiosity like her sister. However, unlike her predeccesor, she 1) likes to sleep, and 2) sucks her thumb(!). It has been so much fun to watch her grow. Here are her stats:
Length = 25 in.
Weight = 13 lb., 5 oz.
She is sleeping well at night and taking 3 naps during the day. Just when I tell someone that we've established a good routine, things get out of whack. So I won't say that. I'll just say we're doing fine. :) We will try to move Bryn out of our room this Fall, but I'm still not sure how, exactly. Noa is still spending nap-time in her room between 1-3pm, but she sleeps only half the time. The other half, she spends playing pretend or floor gymnastics. (Because that's what everyone does instead of nap, right?)
I'm thinking of moving Bryn's crib into the guest room until Noa gives up her daytime nap altogether, that way the younger one can still get her rest. Ultimately, they will share a room - that's my goal. It will be nice to use our master bedroom closet/drawers/bathroom by regular light instead of flashlight once again.
I discovered photos of each of them in the same co-sleeper, at the same age. Made me giggle...
