Just a couple of weeks left before we reach my due date! I have been ready to have this baby girl home for a while now, but these last few days (and especially, nights) I have also *felt* ready. My body is gearing up like a greyhound eying the rabbit. I have noticed that my restful nights are making a slow and sneaky exit from daily life. It began a couple of weeks ago with a few uncomfortable nights followed by a very restful one, then a few more uncomfortable ones (heartburn, muscle aches). But the last three nights have seen me tossing and turning with mildly painful contractions! Rolling over in bed or just getting up to walk around is enough to cause them to stop, and they subside altogether each morning, so I know this isn't true labor. But it's something! Yes, I'm excited. Fetal development charts tell me that these last few weeks play an instrumental role in lung and immunity development. No matter when she comes, I only hope that she is born as healthy and strong as Noa was.
This Spring is living up to its reputation, which is giving us plenty of fun distractions as we wait for baby sister to arrive, and more family to visit after that. Easter brought Noa a new outfit and some fun stickers to play with. Home Depot keeps bringing us large boxes with goodies for our bathroom remodeling project (more pictures coming soon). And the skies continue to surprise us with unpredictable weather. The other day we woke up to warm sunshine, but by noon found ourselves in the middle of a hailstorm. If the wet front is cold enough, our "rain" looks more like like little styrofoam pellets. Pretty cool.

Ok, so that's all for now. Maybe I'll fit in one more update before we have baby pictures to post... or, maybe not. ;-)

You look fabulous! I can't wait to meet this baby!
I don't know how it was for you with Noa, but those last few weeks stretched into another 9 months for me it seemed!
You look great!
