Vacation

Thankfully, Josh was able to take time off and devoted it to the cause of road trips and family vacation! We took off from Colorado Springs, north through Wyoming and to Billings, MT the first day. Friends of ours gave us the keys to their cabin in Red Lodge, MT and we stayed there for two days, then made our way to Yellowstone Park, WY. After two days there we began our trek home, but not before stopping in to visit the Grand Tetons first! It was an absolutely wonderful time. Josh and I turned off our cell phones and simply talked to each other as we gazed at the awesome creations all around us.

Noa wasn't so sure about venturing so far from home at first...

Here is the cabin we stayed at. Absolutely perfect!

We made lots of friends along the way... These guys called themselves the Wild Hogs from Minnesota. :-)

As you can tell, Noa warmed up to the trip pretty quickly.

We took every opportunity we could to dip our toes in lakes and take walks to out-of-way places.

Old Faithful!

The Fam!
We couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable time. And we were so glad that God gave us the patience (with one another) and time (away from work) to make this trip happen. Hope you enjoyed the pictures!

Yes, we had a GREAT time! Thanks for the comments! Julie, it's hard to say. The Red Lodge cabin was wonderfully comfy and isolated; Yellowstone was sunny and hands-on; Grand Tetons were absolutely majestic. It's hard to pick a favorite!
