February

So far, this February is treating us more fairly than last February did. I say that even as we all recover from head colds and Bryn is sounding croupy again. Still, my heart is happy and my home is still busy. Speaking of busy-ness, our home project for this month is coming along. I decided to (finally) clean up and clean out our Sun Room and make it enjoyable for this Spring/Summer. We have used it for storage since moving in and Josh and I constantly daydream about it's possibilities. If I can get all of our random items out of it and into the garage (another project for another day), then lay down some durable rugs and maybe even a coat of paint, it would be a lovely little sun room. Here it is as it as been for the past couple of years:

A home for old paint cans and things we use just a few times a year. Toys that are set aside for later. Christmas decor and a few creepy crawlies. Like this guy:

He and a few of his friends quickly fell by the sword (or broom), accompanied by shrieks and imitations of the River Dance.

Meanwhile, Bryn naps and Noa explores the wild yonder on her trusty steed (when she's not examining the arachnid corpses)...

Off to pick up Noa from school now. This month they are learning how to build things with wood, nails, and glue. Safety goggles included. :)
